Introduction to Creative Dance Movement for Special Needs Students

Ages: 6-8 yrs.

In this class we’ll explore the basic vocabulary of creative dance & learn simple movement sequences, explore improvisation & have FUN!

When: Wednesday September 8, 2022

Time: 4-5pm

Where: Powerhouse Arts Complex, 20-22 Broadway St., Bangor, PA

Cost: $80/4 weeks (Class is on-going with tuition due every 4 wks.)

9 Strategies to Improve Your SAT Test Reading & Writing Score

In this one-time class, students who are scoring below 600 on the Evidence-Based Reading & Writing sections of the SAT will learn 9 strategies to help them improve their SAT Test reading & writing score.

This will be, for the most part, a lecture-type presentation. Students will be expected to take notes.
 
We will discuss:
*  why scoring high is a good idea, explain what it takes to score a 600 on SAT Reading & Writing, and then go over key test-taking strategies.
* understanding what you need to get that score on the actual test. 
* understanding the passage formats
* what's being tested 
* how to answer the questions
* how much time to spend on questions

Cost: $45 per person- (Bring 3 friends and your class is free!)

INTRODUCTION TO AUTISM MOVEMENT/DANCE THERAPY TEACHER TRAINING(For dance instructors)

Dance instructors/studio owners: Join Donna Penna for an introductory teacher training. Donna holds an Autism Therapy® Level I Provider certification and a B.S. in Health & Physical Education/Adapted with many years of dance experience.

Cost: $75/teacher (Studio Owners, bring 3 other teachers from your studio and you will receive your training for 50% off.)
